Coach Jalen Brown grew up immersed in the game of basketball tagging along with his grandfather who was a college coach.
Coach Jalen graduated with honors from Freeport High School in 2019 where he was a 3-year Varsity starter and made the playoffs all of those years. He then played at and graduated from Laroche University in 2023 where he won an AMCC Championship and played in the national tournament. He has brought this experience back to his alma mater where he has served several years as an Assistant Coach for the Varsity team.
Coach Jalen enjoys teaching guard skills to players of all levels and loves to help players develop to the point that they can play with confidence.
