What is The Scoring Factory?

The Scoring Factory is a skills training program open to players from 2nd grade all the way up to professional players.

What is a Membership and what’s included?

Membership includes Skills Sessions at Drive, discounts to our weekend Skills Clinics and access to sign-up for our exclusive Members-Only programs.

Where are your Skills Clinics located?

Our skills clinics take place at several locations around Pittsburgh. Please see our Skills Clinics page for details including dates, times and addresses.

Do you have Summer Camps?

Yes, please see our “Summer Camps” page for details including dates, times and addresses.

What is your ratio of players to coach?

It depends on the program, but there are typically about 7-9 players per coach.

Do you run clinics for other teams?

Yes we have run and organized a myriad number of in house clinics for AAU, Travel and School programs.

How old do you have to be to join?

We start players from 2nd grade up. Players should bring their own basketball and water bottle and expect to be challenged in a positive yet challenging learning environment.

Do you have AAU for kids?

Our Academy takes place in the Spring and implements a practice heavy model combined with weekend Tournaments aimed at player development. Please see our Academy page and Academy FAQs for more details.

Who are your coaches?

The coaching team has grown to include experts in all facets of basketball. Over the years our alumni have played their way to successful high school, college and pro careers.

Can you help my child to play in college?

Yes, The Scoring Factory has direct relationships with numerous college coaches at every level. Helping deserving players get to their next level is a part of our long-term vision.

Do you run any leagues?

Yes, we have a Winter League as well as plans for a Summer League starting in 2025.
